The name Frank Crumit probably doesn't mean a lot to most people but I'm sure the songs he made famous in the Twenties and Thirties are still remembered. He never performed in Britain but he sold millions of records here. 'Granny's Old Arm Chair', 'My Grandfather's Clock', 'Abdul Abulbul Amir', and 'Little Brown Jug' were all made popular by him. 'The Prune Song' is another classic Crumit.
